We serve the freshest seafood available from Safe Harbor in Mayport

Trigger (local) 23.99; Flounder (local) 22.99; Grouper (Mexico) 27.99; Salmon (farm raised, Chile) 20.99; Ahi Tuna (Hawaii) 32.99; Yellow Fin Tuna (Costa Rica) 22.99; Mahi (Costa Rica) 21.99

The seafood we purchase from Central America originates from day boats only. Day boats leave in the day and come back the next morning. The catch is gutted immediately, put on a truck and arrives by plane in Miami the next day. We receive Ahi twice a week overnight from Hawaii and our Costa Rica tuna is gutted on the boat and then “cold smoked”. Cold smoking is a technique to keep the fish just above freezing to preserve quality and taste

Oysters

Gulf Oysters (Louisiana), 6 on the half shell 8.99 / full dozen 16.99

Chesapeake Bay (Maryland), 6 on the half shell 11.99 / full dozen 21.99

Kumamotos (San Francisco Bay), 6 on the half shell 16.99/ full dozen 33.99

Cap’s supports Guana’s local oyster bed re-nourishment project.  Our “used” oyster shells are put in large nets in the Intracoastal and provide fertile breeding ground for new oyster growth.

Most our produce comes from Fresh Start, an organic vegetable farm in Saint Augustine. We feature two cheeses (Tomme and Lil Moo) from Sweet Grass Dairy Farm from Thomasville
